Hello
My name is Ciara Janei and I'm originally from Mount Vernon, New York. In 2023, I graduated from the University of Hartford with a BA in Digital Media & Journalism. I'm now working on my Masters of Arts in Communications while simultaneously operating my own business, CJ Productions LLC.
My Story
I'm a quick and eager learner. I've worked on documentaries, PSAs, promos, live performances, movies, and montages, among other things. To collect video content, I've used UX180 and UX90 cameras, as well as smaller handheld cameras from Cannon and Sony.
I frequently use Adobe Premiere Pro, to edit any type of media content. I've been a part of STN2, a student-run news television network, since my freshman year of college (Student Television Network). I began as a reporter there, learning how to write story packages from interviews. During my junior and senior years in STN2, I was able to move around the TV studio, anchoring the weather and desk, and operating the studio floor cameras.
